Grovehurst Road south B2005 closure from 5am on Monday 30 June until 6am on Monday 14 July 2025

In order for us to complete utility works and various construction activities on the southern gyratory, there will be a closure of Grovehurst Road south B2005 from Great Grovehurst Farmhouse up to the southern gyratory.

Traffic from Kemsley will travel south on the B2005 and B2006 to Bobbing junction where the diversion ends, as shown in the diversion route attached.

Traffic from Iwade can travel on the new bridge to use the A249 southbound entry slip road to Bobbing junction or use Sheppey Way to Bobbing junction where the diversion ends.

• A249 southbound exit slip towards Maidstone is open
• A249 southbound entry slip towards Maidstone is open
• Grovehurst Road south B2005 is closed – To be reopened 14 July 2025
• A249 northbound entry slip towards the Isle of Sheppey is open
• A249 northbound exit slip towards the Isle of Sheppey is open
• Grovehurst Road north (Iwade) is open
