Road and Footpath closures

Dear stakeholder,
The southbound entry slip road and Grovehurst Road south B2005 are now open. Please be advised that the road layout has been changed to the planned gyratory one-way running as shown in the drawing attached.
Traffic coming off the southbound exit slip road can go left towards Swale Way as always, or continue right towards Grovehurst Road south B2005 or the A249 southbound entry slip road. Drivers are advised to follow signs and drive with care while navigating the new layout.
The closures of the A249 northbound exit slip road and Grovehurst overbridge, the A249 northbound entry slip road, and Grovehurst Road north (Iwade) will be in place for 6 weeks.
This is to allow us to safely complete the works on the northern section and tie-in to the southern section, thus completing the whole of the new gyratory.
Dear stakeholder,
Please see traffic management update for next week.
A249 northbound mainline lane 1 closure extended until 6am on Friday 13 June 2025
Please be informed that the current lane 1 closure on the A249 northbound mainline has been extended until Friday 13 June 2025 to allow for completion of the works on the northbound slip roads and tie-ins to the A249 mainline.
