A249 Grovehurst Road works update:
Dear stakeholder,
Due to the discovery of some unchartered services and extended utility works, the scheduled reopening of the A249 southbound entry slip road and Grovehurst Road south B2005 have been extended and will now be lifted as follows:
A249 southbound entry slip road – Due to reopen on Saturday 3 May 2025 at 6am
Grovehurst Road south B2005 – Due to reopen on Saturday 3 May 2025 at 6am
As a result of this extension, the scheduled closure of the A249 northbound entry and exit slip roads, and Grovehurst road north (Iwade), will now be installed on Tuesday 6 May at 6am.
We will continue to keep you informed of our traffic management plans as early as possible to help plan your journeys.
